Hi. I am the "Founder" of Bible Wiki which strives to be a comprehensive encyclopedia on the contents of the Bible from a Biblical Point of View and from within it's timeline. We wish to be an alternative to Wikipedia in that we cover the Bible in as much depth, but without all the speculation and other religious viewpoints. We believe that most people researching the Bible just want to know what the Bible has to say on a topic, whether or not they are a Christian (this does not apply to moral issues). What is unique about our site is that we wish to build a Christian community that can both Study and Write about the Word of God at the same time. Today there is poor Biblical literacy amongst Christians. We hope that Christians can add their knowledge, learn more in the process and grow the knowledge of viewers as well. Our current struggle is a lack of a community. I plan to launch this into a full nonprofit within coming years to have the resources to advertise and truly grow an online Christian community- something that has been met on the Internet with little success. I also hope to launch into other non-wiki based projects to grow Biblical literacy on the Internet.
