Don't know where you're getting your info, but the Atlantic ends at the strait of Gibraltar. The Mediterranean is not part of the Atlantic, it is a sea in it's own right. --Hojimachongtalk 21:20, 24 March 2007 (EDT)

It's what I was taught at school. I'll check. Revert if you want.DDWatkinsIII 21:22, 24 March 2007 (EDT)

This is from wikipedia: "The Mediterranean Sea (35 degrees north, 18 degrees east) is a sea of the Atlantic Ocean almost completely enclosed by land: on the north by Europe" - I don't think it shows liberal bias. LOL!

Regardless, it's not in or a branch of the Atlantic. Rivers have branches, oceans do not. It's fed primarily by the Atlantic, I'm assuming. --Hojimachongtalk 21:28, 24 March 2007 (EDT)
