Overzellous?

Why the block for a user with one edit[1] that puts in a reasonable edit (granted, that page should be locked from even sysops changing for awhile)? --Mtur 20:03, 29 March 2007 (EDT)

I considered it an inappropriate edit. No citation. Block is only in place for 2 hours anyway. niandra 20:12, 29 March 2007 (EDT)
You're not quitting, too, are you? Blanking a talk page worries me.-AmesGyo! 20:13, 29 March 2007 (EDT)
According to User:Conservative, it's perfectly OK since it's not in the commandments. He is a major reason why I'm leaving. I really don't care, to be honest. Wikipedia is your liberal-biased encyclopedia, while Conservapedia is your starting out conservative-biased version. Take your pick. niandra 20:16, 29 March 2007 (EDT)

Niandra, leaving because of the idiots only makes them stronger. You were a good resource and a good sysop!-AmesGyo! 20:42, 29 March 2007 (EDT)

Withdrawing...

Your contributions I appreciated very much. Please reconsider. I don't think Conservative speaks for Andy, or anyone else, but himself. --~ TerryK MyTalk 20:43, 29 March 2007 (EDT)

It's a pity to see yet another reasonable editor retreating from this trainwreck. I'll miss you, but I also understand your decision. No matter where you go from here, I hope it will be a more rewarding experience than this gig. :) --Sid 3050 20:50, 29 March 2007 (EDT)

It's not really my place to be here anyway. My interests conflict with the general idea of this site. I was only here for reverting vandalism and blocking troublesome users. niandra 22:26, 29 March 2007 (EDT)
Well, your block of the user whose first edit was to the intro of a flagship article seemed fine to me. Imagine some stranger barges into the clubhouse, opens the glass doors on the club bulletin board, and changes the 2nd sentence!
I'd prefer to see an introduction first. And a rationale for the edit. Maybe even some discussion on the article's talk page.
Sometimes you just have to nip them in the bud. No legitimate contributor would act the way user:Flip154 did. Probably a sock puppet anyway. --Ed Poor 15:40, 30 March 2007 (EDT)

Welcome back. I missed you.

Welcome back, Niandra! I missed you. You really made my day coming back. I mean it.--Aschlafly 18:18, 5 April 2007 (EDT)

I guess I was in the wrong for becoming too involved with the project. I like helping people. My main objective was to revert vandalism and block troublesome users. I think it got a little out of hand after I started thinking about the Theory of Evolution article and the content that was/is displayed throughout it. I'm pretty sure I'll be still doing my job reverting graffiti on articles, but it's a little more tedious when there's no glorious "rollback" feature! Oh well. I'll take each mischievous edit as it comes! niandra 05:42, 6 April 2007 (EDT)

Too few edits...

Yes, indeed, and another imposter as well, lol. Nice to see you around. Check in on IRC #conservapedia sometime. Its on Freenode. --~ Sysop-TK /MyTalk 04:50, 21 April 2007 (EDT)

Welcome back 2

We missed you, Niandra. I think you were the Aussie, am I right? --Hojimachongtalk 14:07, 8 May 2007 (EDT)

Commonwealth

Don't just undo someone else's work with out discussing it or giving a reason. Undoing my edit on Commonwealth was without basis and in my opinion a bit impolite. Hannibal ad portas 11:36, 9 May 2007 (EDT)

It was an error on my behalf. Sorry. Niandratalk 12:34, 9 May 2007 (EDT)
No worries, thanks for apologising. Hannibal ad portas 02:34, 10 May 2007 (EDT)

Trapezoid / Trapezium

There was an article for Trapezoid where it was mentioned that british 'Trapezium' means the same. Thus, I created Trapezium and redirected it into Trapezoid. But it seems it's more complicated: what is a 'trapezoid' in american english is a 'trapezium' in british english - AND the opposite: an american 'trapezium' is called 'trapezoid' in british english. Thus, I created both pages and explained this in both pages. I am not native british/america, so I may be wrong. Leopeo 08:58, 14 May 2007 (EDT)

Thank You

It is a great day for me. Thank you for this privilege.
