Jjameson, I think you might be at the wrong wiki. First, we don't just add fact tags when we disagree. There is plenty of material on the subject atheism+communism plus evolution/ape to man. I am adding fact tags to things that deserve a citation. Are you implying that the commonly held perception of Communism should be posted as fact, without a reputable citation? Communism is not inherently atheistic; it is only true that many communist leaders have been atheists.

Easy. Now, unless this encyclopedia would rather be known for getting its facts plain wrong than for its usefulness, I'd suggest we stick to the facts rather than what common opinion may hold.

The link I added to your Communism fact tag is to a direct quote from the creator of communism himself; the link you added above is to an individual that did not push communism at all. Sticking to the facts also means you, and if you want to be part of "we" I suggest you start being more cooperative and less heavy-handed. Karajou 19:18, 19 March 2009 (EDT)

I addressed the second issue on the talk page. Also, are you saying that political ideas are unchangable? Surely there are kinds of communism that are not strictly Marxist.

No, I'm saying that as a political philosophy, we have to get to the core idea of what it's about. Karl Mark created it; it's his ideas that were accepted and put into place by the many leaders around the world who employed it as a system of government. It is a fact that this system has employed a terrible set of morals which included a deep hostility not just to the Christian church, but to religion in general. Karajou 19:33, 19 March 2009 (EDT)
