Hey, I'm Lily.

I just started on Conservapedia and got an account for reasons you don't need to know. I used to live in Canada, but moved to the States in July 2011. I miss Canada so much and, to me, it is the best country on the world. I'm not asking anyone to agree with me, but Canada is where I was brought up. I consider it a personal insult if you jeer at it.

On a lighter note, I'm really into art, especially simple pencil and paper drawings. Art opens up a whole world for me. My other passion is writing. I write short stories, fan fiction, and am just starting a novel. Writing is a release from the world for me. It relaxes me and makes me a much happier person.

I also love to read. My second favorite series is the Chronicles of Narnia. I consider it a masterpiece of high fantasy. It is beautiful with clear morals and messages. CS lewis's style of writing is captivating, but realistic. The Pevensies all seem like real people. People I'd love to meet. Narnia is a world of beauty and grace, yet it has its setbacks too. It is not a perfect world. Perhaps that is why I love it so much.

My first favorite books are and always will be Harry Potter. I disagree with Conservapedia on its article on Harry Potter. I don't believe Harry Potter promotes witchcraft. It is a fantasy series about lave, compassion, good vs evil. It is absolutely breathtaking. Only the most ignorant fools would denounce Harry Potter on promoting Satanism. In fact, if push comes to shove, I admit that I long to be a witch and to belong to the magical world.

Please don't trash Harry Potter when I'm present.
