- Don't even try... By the way, Whitlock's paper seems to address only a narrow set of conditions - that in which the means of the two groups varied from 0 to 0.1 SD; a very small maximum difference. Looking at his last two graphs it appears that the correlation of the weighted z-method to the 'true population' p value falls off at the end, whereas Fisher's test remains stable. If you decide to come back, I'd be interested in your opinion about this.--Brossa 20:47, 13 October 2008 (EDT)
