Perhaps your timing could have been worse, but I don't see how. PMaybe some other area interests you? --₮K/Admin/Talk 17:04, 17 May 2009 (EDT)

What do you mean? Did I miss something? MattS 17:06, 17 May 2009 (EDT)

Look here. AddisonDM 18:51, 1 June 2009 (EDT)

Sweet. Thank you very much for not only uploading the image for me, but for also tidying up the links. Thanks again. MattS 19:01, 1 June 2009 (EDT)
Weird. Just noticed that the file has the details of my camera. Huh. I didn't know cameras tagged images like that. I guess it's free advertising! MattS 19:05, 1 June 2009 (EDT)
Please use the Crocus image with that article, okay? Might as well show what the thing actually looks like! --ṬK/Admin/Talk 19:16, 1 June 2009 (EDT)
Will do, an excellent find. I do love the sight of a saffron crocus with the stigma showing, but as a keen cook I guess I'm biased! MattS 19:26, 1 June 2009 (EDT)
Also, I stand corrected. I was always under the impression that only one strand of saffron can be obtained from one flower, but your image, combined with others I have researched, have proved otherwise. I am now quite tempted to find some saffron crocus bulbs to grow for my own personal satisfaction. MattS 19:32, 1 June 2009 (EDT)

They need to be that specific Crocus, however. I have seen a harvest on a farm in Spain, and to get just one teaspoon of Saffron, involves like 50 flowers, or something ridiculous. --ṬK/Admin/Talk 19:48, 1 June 2009 (EDT)

Yes, apparently most other crocuses are poisonous as well. The page looks good now. Thanks for your help (and Addison's of course) MattS 19:53, 1 June 2009 (EDT)
Hi Matt, I corrected some information on the Saffron page (stimas & stamens per flower, top saffron producing countries, etc) and added references, please remember that it is important to make sure the information you include is correct and factual and be sure to provide sources, thanks. Yes, I noticed that you'd sorted a lot of things out on the page. Thank you for doing that. I admit I was running on memory for a lot of the facts and my original source is therefore flawed or out of date. Thanks again. MattS 16:21, 2 June 2009 (EDT)

don't censor me

don't censor criticism. address it like a man. Verity 07:53, 23 October 2009 (EDT)

I just don't feel this wiki the best place to address your concerns. Email the user using the link on the left from their userpage. Revert back if you really like and I'll let the person involved deal with it. MattS 07:55, 23 October 2009 (EDT)
If you can't address your concerns on the website where the project is then where are you supposed to? It doesn't matter, Andy's going to vaporise my comment like he does with everyone else as well as this comment thread on your own talk page. At any rate, thank you for replying to me, despite the fact you deleted my comment, as that's a much warmer response than from any long term editor here. Verity 07:58, 23 October 2009 (EDT)
If you had a problem with something a store was selling, would you storm into the store shouting and screaming like a madman? No, you'd write a letter expressing your concerns and send it to the head office. Screaming in public makes you out to be the bad guy, that's all. MattS 08:00, 23 October 2009 (EDT)
I might, especially if it's a Shoprite brand product in a Shoprite store. I would want a refund for my money and a coupon for a $1 off any Shoprite brand product. EricaCI like protecting you 10:13, 23 October 2009 (EDT)
My father always used to scream and shout when he didn't get his way in a store. Suddenly I no longer felt like the child out of the two of us :\ MattS 10:15, 23 October 2009 (EDT)
