Your claim about the Portuguese government needs a citation. I did a Google and a Google news search and found nothing. DanH 00:54, 16 April 2008 (EDT)

Richard Dawkins

You evidently don't understand what or who the Antichrist is supposed to be. The Greek preposition anti- does not mean merely opposed to. It means instead of. Hence the Antichrist is one pretending to be Jesus Christ and expecting people to take him for That Worthy. And no one is going to mistake Richard Dawkins for Jesus Christ.

I don't think identifying him with the Revelation 13:1 "Beast" is going to fly, either. That person has to win the respect of the world as a political and military leader. Richard Dawkins has never even attempted to be a soldier, nor has he ever lectured or done any research on military science of which I am aware.

Richard Dawkins might be an ideological enemy of God, but he is not the sort of person who would ever pretend to be God. Nor would he fool anybody if he tried. In contrast, the actual Antichrist is one who would fool even God's most dedicated followers, if anyone could fool them at all.--TerryHTalk 17:51, 15 May 2008 (EDT)
