Useful links

Welcome!

Hello, TimOsman, and welcome to Conservapedia!

We're glad you are here to edit. We ask that you read our Editor's Guide before you edit.

At the right are some useful links for you. You can include these links on your user page by putting "{{Useful links}}" on the page. Any questions--ask!

Thanks for reading, TimOsman!

Please!

Use the links above to check our CP Manual of Style. Do not wikifi dates! Do not copy anything from Wikipedia! If you need help, just ask...ok? --şŷŝôρ-₮KṢρёаќǃ 23:51, 7 August 2007 (EDT)

Style

Please do not sign your edits on the article space, use the article's discussion page to show the changes/additions you have made. Do not attached a "work in progress" tag to the article, either. We understand if you cannot write a brilliant article in one shot, come back later to keep adding useful information! Jallen talk 14:21, 8 August 2007 (EDT)

Getting used to CP...

Another thing we do here, is we don't encourage "ping-ponging" of conversations. If I leave you a message here, your page is watched, and I expect to see a reply here, not on my page. That way the entire conversation is complete and in one place, the easier to jog one's memory about what was said, eh? As you can see, we do not have a work in progress template (we try to avoid templates here) so just note the fact you are working on an article in the edit notes before you save whatever you have done. Thanks. --şŷŝôρ-₮KṢρёаќǃ 14:38, 8 August 2007 (EDT)

Understood! Thanks for the advice...I am just getting my feel around here and sometimes I will ask to be steered in the "right" direction!

Now - is there anyway someone can help me upload images? As soon as I can do it, I can make the articles I am contributing to much, much better and more fuller in content.

Tim Osman

I'm the most experienced sysop here. I made 40,000 edits to Wikipedia and was a developer and bureaucrat (until they decided to abandon NPOV in favor of liberal bias).
Place the link for any image you need at talk:Joseph Wilson, and I'll upload it for you. Anything else you need, just let me know.
By the way, I know a considerable amount about the Plame Affair, although most of what I contributed to Wikipedia was deleted by POV-pushers. It's the in's and out's (who knew what, and when?) that interest me. The matter has implications on President Bush's decision to invade Iraq. --Ed Poor Talk 15:04, 8 August 2007 (EDT)

categorizing articles

Hi! :)

Thanks for adding a new article. Please, though, categorize your articles when you create them; while there are those of us who will go through and clean-up the uncategorized articles, you know your subject better than we do.

For a list of categories, go here: Special:Categories. To add a category to your article, type two open brackets, then "category:" followed by the category you want. Just add two closed brackets and you're done! You can add as many categories as you feel are appropriate. Thanks! Aziraphale 11:59, 10 August 2007 (EDT)
