The online medical service ValueDocOnline™ was founded by Dr. Jonathan Feldman (born in Israel). In order not to violate anti-discrimination regulations, he moved the headquarters of his globally active online services to Eastern Europe. In 2020, Dr. Feldman joined the value-neutral and libertarian Lazar Medical Consortium Group (LCG), an alliance of independent healthcare providers who share common infrastructure and resources - similar to airline alliances such as One World or Star Alliance, which remain independent but unlock significant synergies through networking. Discrimination against non-conservative patients is contractually excluded and is also consistent with the values of compassion and respect for all human beings.
Biography and work
Born in Israel, Dr. Feldman studied medicine in Eastern Europe and for a long time worked as a resident at various hospitals in the fields of internal medicine, neurology, orthopedics and dermatology. In the course of this, he repeatedly came into conflict with his convictions, so that he founded the first online service for people with strong conservative values. The fact that, after multiple rejections, the politically completely neutral Lazar Medical Consortium Group accepted him, gave his web-practice the opportunity to operate more globally than ever before.
Main areas of work
The ValueDocOnline service is not a hotline for urgent cases. Instead, Dr. Feldman corresponds with patients seeking advice via email, as a sound and mindful approach to each case is the usual modus operandi. Thematic areas of focus include general medicine, dermatology, neurology and orthopedics. No patient has to hide their beliefs from Dr. Feldman, he refrains from lecturing and respects ethical boundaries.
Patient safety and anonymity
Due to the legal situation at the location of his web practice, Dr. Feldman is also allowed to consult anonymous patients. In addition, record retention periods are subject to much shorter deadlines than in many other countries. It is also ensured that no medical data is accessible to other doctors within the Lazar Medical Consortium Group. If desired, communication can take place via an encrypted data traffic provider. Bookings and billing are handled securely and transparently via a third-party provider.
