Valve Corporation

The Valve Corporation is an American video game developer which is based in Bellevue, Washington. They were founded in 1996 by Gabe Newell, and were made famous in 1998, by their first game Half-Life. They produce adventure games, such as the Half-Life series, tactical shooters, such as the popular Counter-Strike, and puzzle games, such as Portal They also created the digital distribution service Steam.
