VinFast is a Vietnam manufacturer of electric cars that is expanding into the United States, where it began selling electric cars around March 1, 2023 in California.

VinFast had planned to open a massive $4 billion electric car factory in Chatham County in North Carolina on 1759 acres of land in July 2024, but has pushed that back to 2025 for administrative reasons.
