The Wii U is a video game console released by Nintendo in 2012. It is the successor to the Wii. Its main controller is the Wii U GamePad, which was designed after a tablet albeit with buttons. The main gimmick was that players can switch gameplay from the TV to the GamePad screen or use both screens simultaneously.
