Will to Power

The will to power is a philosophical concept developed by the 19th-century German philosopher and atheist Friedrich Nietzsche. Will to power" is essentially the idea that people have an inherent drive to assert themselves, overcome obstacles and themselves, and exert influence over their environment. Nietzsche's work never systematically and rigorously defined the will to power, which leaves its interpretation subject to debate.
