William Pierce Frye

William Pierce Frye (September 2, 1830 – August 8, 1911), also known as William P. Frye, was a conservative Republican from Maine who served as the state's U.S. senator from 1881 up until his death in office in 1911. He previously was a U.S. representative from the state's second congressional district.
