Windows Aero

Windows Aero (short for Authentic, Energetic, Reflective, and Open) is a Windows feature that provides live taskbar thumbnail images.[1] It was introduced with Windows Vista. AERO does require some hardware capability not necessarily needed by the system itself, so on some older devices, it may not function properly.[2]
