Woke trial

A Woke trial is a judicial proceeding whereby Leftists demand a certain outcome, thereby distorting the results. An innocent man can be wrongly convicted as a result of overwhelming publicity demanding that verdict, if the trial is not moved to fairer venue.
Conditions for a woke trial include many, but not necessarily all, of the following:
- intense liberal media publicity
- denial of a motion to transfer to a neutral venue
- violating traditional rules of evidence such that improper assertions by witnesses are allowed
- attorneys who do not vigorously represent their clients
- lack of a robust, timely appellate process known to apply Rule of Law
