The Word of Life Christian Church is a Christian church located in upstate New York.
In 2015, the church came to national attention after six church members were arrested following an incident in which two teenage brothers were beaten to death at the church. According to police, the teens "were continually subjected to physical punishment over the course of several hours, in hopes that each would confess to prior sins and ask for forgiveness."[1]
Two of the suspects are the parents of the victims.
