World English Bible

The World English Bible (WEB) is a modern English translation of the Bible that is in the public domain and free of any copyright restrictions. It is based on:
- American Standard Version (1901)
- Biblia Hebraica Stutgartensa Old Testament
- Greek Majority Text New Testament
This translation project began in 1994 and was fully completed in 2020, but published as early as 2000.
