Yellow fever epidemic of 1793 was an outbreak of Yellow fever that gripped the city of Philadelphia in the summer of 1793.
Benjamin Rush, along with the help of church leaders Absalom Jones and Richard Allen were on the front lines fighting against the epidemic.[1]
