Zelensky–Jewish fallacy
The ZelenskyâJewish fallacy is the argument presented by defenders of the contemporary Ukrainian government that President Volodymyr Zelensky is neither antisemitic nor a Nazis tolerant simply due to his ethnic Jewish heritage (though educated secularily). But the reality is that far-left (who happen to be) Jews such as George Soros do not actually care for Jewish interests. (On the contrary). In 2021, SWC listed the lefty radical terror-apologetic "Jewish Voice for (sic) Peace" JVP, No. 5 of the Top Anti Semitic.[1] The logical fallacy rests on the automatic presumption that all (ethnically linked) Jewish individuals are immune to Nazism-tolerance and antisemitism. As a result of the fallacy's prevalence, particularly in the West as widespread propaganda ensues, numerous individuals refuse to research the antisemitic origins of Ukrainian nationalism that permeate into the current government (though he himself is not), due to their preconditioned belief into the notion that it would be impossible for Zelensky to have any alliance with Nazis.
Some Jews have soundly criticized the glamorization of Zelensky as a "Jewish hero."[2]
During his time as a comedian, Zelensky was making satiric Nazi linked jokes that had anti-Semitic and Russophobic content in which the majority of his audience was not laughing and did not seem comfortable.[3]
