Toxic personality? You're the expert.

What ever happened to any scriptural basis that people can use rather than all this scientism being added? Thanks. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 13:46, September 11, 2023 (EDT)

The term "excommunication" does not appear in the bible. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 14:15, September 11, 2023 (EDT)

:A church shunning someone is not unbiblical and is done in some cases. "If your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother. But if he does not listen to you, take one or two more with you, so that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every fact may be confirmed. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector." - Mathew 18:15-18

::I'll let you jerk around with your latest toy for a couple hours. I notice virtually all translations say "sins" whereas KJV says "trespasses", so gimme a couple hours to think on the matter. WebMD: "Toxicity in people isn’t considered a mental disorder. But there could be underlying mental problems that cause someone to act in toxic ways, including a personality disorder."

First of all, WebMD notes that it MAY be a result of a personality. Not that it must be.

Secondly, there are more than one personality disorders. Antisocial personality disorder, sometimes called sociopathy, is just one type of personality disorder and below is a list of them:

*Antisocial personality disorder.
*Avoidant personality disorder.
*Borderline personality disorder.
*Dependent personality disorder.
*Histrionic personality disorder.
*Narcissistic personality disorder.
*Obsessive-compulsive personality disorder.
*Paranoid personality disorder. Conservative (talk) 14:31, September 11, 2023 (EDT)

As a layman, it looks to me like a bunch of scientism double talk. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 14:34, September 11, 2023 (EDT)

What protection do we have against lockdowns for toxic personality disorder? The experts, after all, defined it. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 14:35, September 11, 2023 (EDT)

:To begin with, you never define terms such as "drama" or "toxic". If you wanna debate or discuss the term "drama", as some supposed negative characteristic, be ready, cause I'm ready.

:And then "toxic"? One's man's food is another man's poison. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 14:38, September 11, 2023 (EDT)

::If you don't know what you are talking about when it comes to the social science of psychology, then let another editor review and contribute to the article. Conservative (talk) 14:41, September 11, 2023 (EDT)

:::You have "drama", "trauma", and "dream" all confused, which all stem from the same Greek root. This "science" reads like a script from an old Madonna (singer) movie. Psychology might not be my forté, but etymology is (and we already slapped down your misuse of the term "Machiavellian" as defined by so psychology "experts"). According to you, Shakespeare suffered from toxic personality, cause he produced a lot of drama. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 14:59, September 11, 2023 (EDT)

"None of my footnotes use the term disruptions". Good. You can't use the term "drama" without defining it first. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 18:37, September 11, 2023 (EDT)
