:There's no voting.  It is done on the meritocratic basis, much like this site (Andy chooses).  If you have constructive suggestions or comments I am sure they are welcome and will be taken into account when the final decision is made.  --DamianJohn 02:53, 25 December 2012 (EST)

I find it troubling that some of the nominees are sufficiently prominent to make the list, but do not have a separate article in CP.  Let's get to work. Wschact 06:06, 25 December 2012 (EST)

:DamianJohn's comments above are welcome, but logic and principles determine the best, like everything else on this site.

I think that Paul Ryan should probably have the top spot with Ron Paul a close second.  I don't know enough about the various international figures to assess their rankings. Wschact 02:01, 27 December 2012 (EST)

: Campbell Newman should be higher given his political feets. Dvergne 19:22, 28 December 2012 (EST)

::Paul Ryan has not been particularly conservative.  As to Campbell Newman, what exactly is his influence in Australia?--Andy Schlafly 19:26, 28 December 2012 (EST)

Thank you for the re-ordering.  However, Wayne LaPierre has been working hard and making public appearances all year, not just after Sandy Hook.  By way of comparison, Tim Tebow does not face daily pressure to perform all year round. Wschact 23:58, 28 December 2012 (EST)

:Valid point, but Tebow has been in the media and a cultural influence nearly the entire year.--Andy Schlafly 00:46, 29 December 2012 (EST)

Mr. Schlafly, specifically which of the 2012 Summer Olympiads are you referring to? From which country? I'm sure you're not implying that every athlete that competed in the Summer Games is a conservative. --DonnyC 19:59, 29 December 2012 (EST)

:The Olympians were predominantly Christian and conservative, and it is difficult to identify any liberal counterexamples of any significance.--Andy Schlafly 21:14, 29 December 2012 (EST)

::Even the ones from liberal secular countries like Britain and France? What about Israel, did they have Christian athletes as well? How come gold medalist Gabby Douglas gave the pledge of allegiance at the Democratic National Convention if she is politically conservative? ---DonnyC 21:43, 29 December 2012 (EST)
