Names like El Greco, Francisco de Zurbarán, Diego Velazquez, Alonso Cano, Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, Francisco de Goya, Joaquín Sorolla, Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró and Salvador Dali represent some of the most valued artist in painting.
The Spanish Golden Age, seventeenth century, produced outstanding artworks in Mannerist and Baroque style. The Burial of Count Orgaz, Las Meninas, Surrender of Breda, The Painter Before Christ Crucified, Dead Christ Supported by an Angel, and Boys Eating Melon are some of this great masterpieces.
