Hucknall is a former coal mining town close to the City of Nottingham in the UK. It is famous for being the burial place of Lord Byron, the poet, who lived at nearby Newstead Abbey. The singer Mick Hucknall of Simply Red was born Michael Smith but adopted the name of his native town.
