Daniel Drew (1797–1879) was a Wall Street insider during the Gilded Age. He was a rags-to-riches-to-rags story that began with little formal education as a child. He earned a fortune by manipulating stock on Wall Street, founding the successful brokerage firm of Drew, Robinson & Company in 1844. Ultimately he was betrayed by James Fiske and Jay Gould, two other Wall Street insiders, and died penniless.

He is famously known for his remark that all he wanted in a deal was "a little unfair advantage."
