Mary Magdalene was a Jewish woman from the tribe of Benjamin who was also a disciple of Christ. She appears many times in the New Testament. Mary came with Jesus on his journey to Jerusalem and witnessed his crucifixion[1]. According to the Bible, She was also the first one to see that Jesus had resurrected[2].
