These include the .30 WCF (.30-30), the .50 BMG, the .270 Winchester, the .308 Winchester, the .243 Winchester, the .22 WMR (.22 Magnum), and the .300 Winchester Magnum. City in England
The less common meaning of Winchester refers to a small city of 116,595[2] in the county of Hampshire in Southern England. It was the capital city of Wessex, and after the unification of England by Alfred the Great in the 10th century, it became the capital city of England. It was superceded as capital by London after the Norman Conquest in 1066. Winchester is a picturesque and historical city with a fine Saxon and Norman cathedral which offers Anglican services.
