Late in Charles Darwin's life, Darwin told the Duke of Argyll that he frequently had overwhelming thoughts that the natural world was the result of design.[1] In a letter to Asa Gray, Darwin confided: "...I am quite conscious that my speculations run quite beyond the bounds of true science."[2]
Below are some famous agnostics:
- Charles Darwin (agnostic/weak atheist)
- Albert Einstein (Pantheist/agnostic)[4][5]
- Steve Wozniak (Wozniak wrote: "I am also atheist or agnostic (I don't even know the difference)."[6])
