I removed a statement I wrote in the past that Hans Eysenck defined pedophilia as those over 16 having sex with those under. He lives in Great Britain, where the legal age for sex is 16, and where its culturally more acceptable for teenagers to date adults. But in the USA, the most common definition of pedophilia is having sex with those under 18. An example is Mark Foley's case, even though his victims were all 16 or older, the legal age in his jurisdiction for sex, nobody cared because they were still under the age of majority. The majority of the public mistakenly includes sexual attraction to 16-17 year olds in their definition of pedophilia because of the fact that 16-17 year olds are still under the age of majority which makes them legally children. The other part I changed was in reference to advocacy adult/teenage relationships. That's not true pedophilia, but what the public mistakenly thinks is pedophilia. If this article is about the medical definition of pedophilia, then that should be taken out.--[[User:Burke39|Burke39]] 00:05, 9 March 2015 (EDT)
