The Multiplication of the loaves and fish is an enigmatic sign (miracle) by Jesus, the only one that is reported in all four Gospels: Matthew 14:13–21, Mark 6:31-44, Luke 9:10-17 and John 6:5-15. Its frequent reference in the Gospels, including twice by Mark, suggests that Jesus performed this work more than once.
This sign by Jesus indicates that scarcity is due to a lack of faith, not a lack of resources.
It is strikingly similar to the Banach-Tarski Paradox in mathematics.
