Vince Foster (d. 20 July 1993) was one of four former members of the notorious Arkansas Rose Law Firm who migrated to Washington, D.C. upon Bill Clinton's election in 1992 to the presidency with a 42% plurality. The other three were :
- Hillary Rodham Clinton, the first First Lady of Arkansas and the United States to come under criminal investigation;
- Webster (Webb) Hubbell, former Chief Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court appointed by Bill Clinton; convicted and sentenced to federal prison in the Whitewater land scheme to defraud retirees of which Bill and Hillary Clinton were partners;
- Bruce Lindsey, current Chairman of the Board of the Clinton Foundation.
Foster is said to have committed suicide one day after President Bill Clinton took the unprecedented step of firing the head of the FBI which would be charged with investigating his death. In all probability, Foster did commit suicide, however many questions linger. The death was investigated no less than four times by the FBI, but lower level FBI field agents have been accused of involvement in the suspicious cconditions in the discovery of his remains. Foster served as Counsel to the President.
Various theories surround the odd circumstances in Foster's death. Here is a sampling of some theories most frequently discussed:
- Foster committed suicide in his office in the White House, and his body was moved by unknown persons to his car in the parking lot.[1]
- Foster committed suicide in his car in the White House parking lot, and was transported to Fort Marcy Park by FBI agents so as to avoid Washington D.C. homicide investigators being involved. The FBI ultimately would be the investigative agency had the death occurred in the White House proper, in the White House parking lot, or on federal property under the U.S. Park Service such as Fort Marcy Park.[2]
- Foster drove under his own volition to Fort Marcy Park and shot himself, which then the FBI was called in to investigate.
- Foster was the victim of a homicide either in the White House, the White House parking lot, or at Fort Marcy Park.
it was homicide...
Here are a few of the base arguments which imply Foster's death was a premeditated homicide :
- FBI Director William Sessions was summarily fired by President Bill Clinton one day before Foster's death. The FBI which would be called in to investigate the death of the highest ranking administration official since the assassination of John F. Kennedy was in a state of flux and confusion.[3]
- Webster Hubbell is quoted at the time as saying "Don't believe a word you hear. It's not suicide. It couldn't have been."[4]
- Botched investigation and autopsy.[5]
it was suicide...
These are some of the arguments tending to the conclusion Foster's death was a suicide :
- Foster was severely depressed after being the trigger-man in the death and incineration of 17 children and 68 adults in the Waco massacre which Hillary Clinton decreed.[6]
- Adding to Foster's depression was a severe and abusive dressing down in public, one week prior to his death, in front of his peers and subordinates by Hillary Rodham Clinton from which his demeanor never recovered.[7]
- Foster was the week link in the cabal of Arkansans with detailed knowledge of all the wrongdoing in the Whitewater scandal and other questionable associations and dealings as the events in Arkansas were coming under closer scrutiny.
The recent reporting on Foster's state of mind, his depression over is involvement in the Waco massacre and Hillary's public abuse of him, is a more reasoned and plausiblible explanation than the story fed to the media by Hillary Rodham Clinton's surrogates at the time, that Foster was depressed and killed himself over Hillary's tax returns and billing records from the Rose Law Firm.
Hillary Clinton and Vince Foster were rumored to have been romantically involved, but then what difference does it make?
