Brain computer interface or BCI is a communication pathway between a biological brain and a computer, in which the individual's thoughts or sight are translated into visual images on a computer screen. A BCI can also potentially allow users to control certain computers without physically moving. This kind of a system could be incredibly useful for people who are paralyzed or disabled.
Continued research in the field of cybernetics is necessary for the advancement of BCI. This practice will probably also become instrumental in the fields of psychology and psychiatry in the future.
