Exit polls are polls and surveys conducted at polling places. Voters are asked who they voted for upon exiting the polls.
These polls seem to support Democratic Party candidates, and have been used in claims of rigged elections. The 2004 presidential election, according to exit polls, was won by John Kerry and not George W. Bush.
