If you have a lot of text which needs to be saved, it's probably okay to do it as you did for a short time, but if it's going to be there very long, there are two other options, also. you can also either add the <code><nowiki>{{Progress}}</nowiki></code> template to the top of the page, or you can add <code><nowiki><!--</nowiki></code> to the beginning of the text and <code><nowiki>--></nowiki></code> to the end so that the text remains on the page, but is not displayed at all. Work in progress
As stated, there are at least many, many dozens of articles in the NYT and WP papers on this subject. There are a few more books that refer to it. It will take me several weeks to get to this.--Amorrow (talk) 20:54, 18 January 2017 (EST)
- I'm sure your contributions will be valuable! If you have a lot of text which needs to be saved, it's probably okay to do it as you did for a short time, but if it's going to be there very long, there are two other options, also. you can also either add the
{{Progress}}template to the top of the page, or you can add<!--to the beginning of the text and-->to the end so that the text remains on the page, but is not displayed at all. It's up to you, and probably doesn't matter as much right now as if this were the Donald Trump article. Cheers! --David B (TALK) 00:04, 23 January 2017 (EST)
