Panama City is the capital city of Panama. It was described as a "Wretched hive of scum and villainy" by a character from Star Wars. This was inspired by Star Wars director George Lucas's personal experience of being robbed in Panama city in 1974, an event which inspired him to create the fictional spaceport of Mos Eiesley in Star Wars.
