The Eurofighter Typhoon is a modern European fighter plane made jointly by the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Austria and Germany for their common defense. It has been ordered by those nations and also by Saudi Arabia. The first aircraft were ready in 2008. It is most comparable to the U.S.-made F-22 Raptor.
