Larson notes that he supported most of the legislation that Abbott favored in the special session last year, but says no voter should expect his or her representative to be totally in lockstep with the governor, lieutenant governor or, for that matter, with such groups as Empower Texans, which has targeted Straus and other legislators for allegedly being insufficiently conservative.<br>
