Kavalec sent Bruse Ohr “information on Simon Kukes, a Russian-born executive who contributed more than $250,000 to Trump-supporting organizations after Trump won the Republican nomination.” In follow-up email, Kavalec references connections between Kukes and Sergei Millian.
As of 2018, Kavalec was President Trump's nominee to be ambassador to Albania. Kavalec is on Devin Nunes' interview list.
