Animal print is a clothing or fashion style in which the garment resembles the skin and fur of an animal such as a leopard, cheetah, jaguar, tiger, hyena, zebra, giraffe, or snake. Animal prints have existed since at least the Industrial Revolution during the 19th century, and have been a popular interior of leather jackets and shoes for many women from Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Bulgaria, Serbia, and other countries in the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe. Animal print can also take the form of rugs, pillows, and blankets. Many of the original animal prints came from real animal coats, but most modern ones are from fake fur.
