{{policy proposal}}
Wikipedia's "deletion" policy allows an admin/Sysop to delete hours of someone's valuable work, usually after notice but without even giving a reason or allowing a convenient appeal or reconsideration. Here we favor a policy that has some reasonable checks on deletions, except where there is a rule violation.
