Sylvester Magee (May 29th 1841 - 1971) was an American Slave in the 19th century and claimed to be the oldest person ever (129/130 years old). This claim of old age is disputed but it appears true.
If the claim was true then Magee would be the oldest person ever, surpassing Jeanne Calment at the age of 122 years.
