::Well, since you brought it up, I have accepted Jesus Christ, I believe in the US constitution, I believe in the 2nd Amendment, I am pro-military, I am Patriotic toward America, and I want all of the tags on my user page that show this. :::Okay, that shouldn't be too difficult.  If you want to learn about userboxes and browse the existing options, you will want to look here: [[Conservapedia:Userboxes]].  Or, if you prefer, you can just use the applicable code I have on my profile page.<br />

−
:::First, you need a container, so put <code><nowiki>{{userboxtop|About Me}}</nowiki></code> on the top, and <code><nowiki>{{Userboxbottom}}</nowiki></code> on the bottom (other page content goes after this). ''The "About Me" message on the opening tag can be changed to whatever you prefer.'' Then, just load in the userboxes you want.  I am using <code><nowiki>{{User Christian2}}</nowiki></code> to say I am a Christian, and <code><nowiki>{{User American}}</nowiki></code> to display my patriotism.  I don't have a box specifically for the Constitution, expect for the limited government one: <code><nowiki>{{User limited govt}}</nowiki></code>. You can use that, or use this more straightforward one: <code><nowiki>{{User Constitution}}</nowiki></code>. Regarding the second amendment, I assume you are specificly talking about the right to have and bear arms.  For that, you would probably want to use <code><nowiki>{{User progun}}</nowiki></code>.  For the military, you probably want <code><nowiki>{{User patriot}}</nowiki></code>.

−

−
::: I think that covers everything, but if I missed anything, let me know.  Also, feel free to look around for others you might like by [[Conservapedia:Userboxes#Userbox_Index|clicking through the categories]].

−

−
:::If all of my assumptions were correct, then you will want to put the following on your profile page:

−
{{QuoteBox|<nowiki>

−

−
{{userboxtop|About Me}}</nowiki><br/><nowiki>

Surprisingly, it's been 5 days since CP has had a troll blocked. [[User:Shobson20|Shobson20]] ([[User talk:Shobson20|talk]]) 01:27, 15 June 2018 (EDT)

:They come and go in waves. I'm sure they will be back, but that's no problem.  We'll deal with them as we always do, when they return.  Also, I don't know how much this has been helping, but I've been blocking many IP addresses (using [[User:DavidB4-bot|my bot]]) which can be used for sock accounts.

:Regarding trolls coming and going in waves, this is true.  The worst of it most often comes in the summertime, when school is out and some kids are bored and have nothing better to do, so they go online (most often without parental supervision) and get into mischief there. [[User:Northwest|Northwest]] ([[User talk:Northwest|talk]]) 22:26, 15 June 2018 (EDT)

::And regarding your question about the IP addresses, you are correct that they can mask their IP, but it is those mask IPs we often block, so that they have a harder time of getting through.  I don't want to discuss it in detail on a public talk page, though. They might learn something we would prefer they didn't know.

== Something I heard from an Atheist ==

−

−
I have seen twice from Atheists, that if they actually observed molecules-to-man evolution, that would somehow be evidence against it. Let me get this straight, If you could somehow travel back in time and live for the billions of years that molecules-to-man evolution would take and directly observe what you claim happened back then, it would somehow DISprove it? That's like saying that observing objects falling would somehow disprove gravity. [[User:Shobson20|Shobson20]] ([[User talk:Shobson20|talk]]) 19:16, 20 October 2018 (EDT)

:I thought of saying something on my user page along the lines of "watch out, trolls, I'm coming after you now!" But I decided not to because I feel that it's inappropriate because:

−

−
#It would sound like I was bragging and Matthew 23:12 says: "For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." and James 4:6 says: "But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: 'God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.'" In the original Greek, the word for proud means "to puff one's self up."

−
#I believe that Andy expects a certain level of decorum from people on this site, especially those to whom he has granted certain admin privileges. I think it is important to exercise a certain level of maturity and responsibility when you've been put in a position where your voice represents this site. After all, Jesus did not proudly flaunt the authority given to him by his Father.[[User:Shobson20|Shobson20]] ([[User talk:Shobson20|talk]]) 00:44, 16 December 2018 (EST)

:::That sounds like a wise choice--those are good reasons. Also, the way I see it, turning our focus to vandals gives them a sort of victory--they will have changed our behavior. However, there is nothing wrong with countering attacks to a reasonable degree.

−
:::As just a bit of housekeeping, please avoid blocking IP addresses indefinitely. The "Automatically block the last IP address used by this user..." option enables autoblock, which is very helpful and should typically be used.  However, some IPs belong to entire schools, libraries, and companies, plus IP addresses get reassigned over time.  Blocking them for long periods of time can prevent legitimate users from editing. For now, probably figure that a ban using autoblock should not typically be longer than a year. You can disable autoblock and ban an account permanently, but the IP will not be blocked, so they can just make another account. --[[User:DavidB4|<font color="ForestGreen">David B</font>]] ([[User talk:DavidB4|TALK]]) 01:19, 16 December 2018 (EST)

::::You also have rules about not changing block status set by a higher level admin too, don't you? [[User:Shobson20|Shobson20]] ([[User talk:Shobson20|talk]]) 01:40, 16 December 2018 (EST)

−
:::::I don't know if there's an official rule, but unofficially, we're not supposed to change admin blocks. Also, we strongly discourage the use of indefinite blocks. For regular vandals, just do six months or one year (Andy also prefers 3-month blocks), and for very serious vandals, do 2-5 years. --[[User:1990&#39;sguy|1990&#39;sguy]] ([[User talk:1990&#39;sguy|talk]]) 13:58, 16 December 2018 (EST)

There's something I want to make but don't know if it should be an essay or mainspace article. In general, it's about why left-wing ideas are antithetical to biblical principles. Conservapedia has debate pages.  For example, here is a debate page: [[Debate:Are alcohol, marijuana, and nicotine gateway drugs?]].

−

−
What I see now is a whole bunch of repetitive and poorly organized material on talk pages dealing with Catholic vs. Protestant issues that is not bringing web traffic. This needs to stop. I stopped reading this repetive material and I am others have as well.

If you are going to have debates, for the sake of Conservapedia readers, have them on debate pages. Nobody wants to read poorly organized and repetitive material.

I posted the below message to RobSmith and it refines my thinking on this matter.

−

−
RobSmith, I know you do your best to bring in web traffic which Conservapedians appreciate.

−

−
I have a small request.

−

−
Conservapedia has debate pages.  For example, here is a debate page: [[Debate:Are alcohol, marijuana, and nicotine gateway drugs?]].

−

−
Having a debate on a specific issue, would make the debate exchanges more organized and debates with debate titles on the page would be more organized.

−

−
I would also suggest setting up debate guidelines. Because right now the back and forth between the Protestants and Catholics is getting repetitive. And because it is on talk pages, it tends not to be very organized.

−

−
What I see now is a whole bunch of repetitive and poorly organized material on talk pages dealing with Catholic vs. Protestant issues that is not bringing web traffic.

−

−
If you are going to have debates, for the sake of Conservapedia readers, have them on debate pages. [[User:Conservative|Conservative]] ([[User talk:Conservative|talk]]) 14:23, 18 July 2020 (EDT)

−
=== Postscript ===

−

−
My main criticism is that these Protestant vs. Catholic exchanges are not on talk page articles relevant to the topic. They are not on debate pages. They are on User talk pages which is the worst places for these exchanges to take place.

−

−
When these exchanges take place on user talk pages, they tend to be unorganized, repetitive and "no holds barred".  There are no rules or conventions when it comes to user talk pages.  But article talk pages tend to be more topically relevant and organized. Debate pages tend to also be more organized and less repetitive. [[User:Conservative|Conservative]] ([[User talk:Conservative|talk]]) 17:21, 18 July 2020 (EDT)

Andy did agree with me that Catholic vs. Protestant issues are best done on debate pages which are: more informative, better organized, more civil and bring in more search engine traffic (Search engines like topically focused pages and user talk pages are a mishmash of various subjects and therefore do not rank well in the search results).

Now that I've added some details to your essay creations, do you suppose you'd want to participate in [[Debate:Should_Susan_Collins_win_re-election_in_2020%3F|this debate]] I started a while ago? I had initially been disappointed that no one seemed interested in it. ::::I don't think she'll be replaced by a younger version of herself, as it'd be near impossible for any future [[RINO]] to make it past a [[Republican]] primary election; also, regarding the [[2020 U.S. Senate election in Maine]], Collins may out-perform Trump among [[independent voters]] while still getting a mostly strong support from the Trump base (due to voting for Kavanaugh and against impeachment) and may even still have the slight crossover appeal to some moderate Democrat voters in just a close enough margin to pull off a victory over Sara Gideon. [[Essay:Analyses_of_misleading_polls#August_19.2C_2020|See here]] for my recent analysis of a PPP poll conducted over the election. —[[User:Liberaltears|Liberaltears]]'''''[[User:Liberaltears/mail|May Dataclarifier be well!]] | [[Special:Contributions/Liberaltears|Don't be an anti-Catholic zealot!]]''''' Monday, 01:27, 24 August 2020 (EDT)

All you who voted Dem in this election: you voted to affirm riots, property destruction, violence, and MURDER! You affirm the false narrative of "police brutality" because you don't do real research and get the FACTS of those cases. You have NO MORAL HIGH GROUND TO STAND ON!!!! If you're "pro-choice," you affirm this: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFZDhM5Gwhk] You also vote AGAINST the first Amendment because you affirm big tech censorship. Go ahead and try to defend your actions, I DARE YOU. [[User:Shobson20|Shobson20]] ([[User talk:Shobson20|talk]]) 15:17, 8 November 2020 (EST)

You bloviate about the "mostly peaceful protests" and only condemn the right for using the violence as a political weapon. It's obvious where your priorities are. You demand that Trump denounce White Supremacists (which he has done, for years [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ah1LBT4Hhq8] ) yet you won't condemn this. As Jesus said to his followers, "You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye." Actually, they do prove one thing, that Biden supporters are trolls and scum. Thank you for giving me even more evidence to prove the point I was just trying to make. The troll said: "Well, then get to it and **** off, and have fun getting ***** deep in the squealing hog you dress up as your wife. Loser." This is what Democrat and Biden voters look like, people.
