Pentatonix is a popular a cappella group of five singers, founded in 2010 in Texas.[1] It has frequently viewed Christmas songs available on YouTube. The a cappella group is considered the first to achieve enormous mainstream success, without musical instruments.
Founder Scott Hoying, a baritone, founded the group and recruited two of its other initial members.
Some of its members have changed over the years, but it is typically comprised of one female vocalist and four male vocalists.
