New Super Mario Bros. is a video game for the Nintendo DS, released in 2006. It serves as a reboot of the Super Mario series of video games. Besides an adventure mode, the game contains several different additional minigames, many returning from Super Mario 64 DS. The story has the same common plot as many Super Mario titles, as it is about Mario having to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser. In 2009, a sequel was released for the Wii, New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
