I am not a member of the Uniting Church, but your article is excellent.  I suppose the one thing that the church is known for in the wider community, that doesn't get a mention, is the Sydney injecting room.  Clearly a controversial subject, but one I think would be interesting to get a run on this site as it demonstrates that the simplification that christian=conservative doesn't always hold by any means.  Anyway, I felt it was "your" article so I wanted to leave you to decide whether you wanted to put such a potentially difficult comment on the page. : Good point. It's not an issue for me. (At one stage of my life I was a phone counsellor at the UC Wayside Chapel in Kings Cross and heard and saw the toll of human suffering that the place has to offer. My personal point of view is that anything that helps is better than nothing.) I'll look into it and add a mention. [[User:Peter Ellis|Peter Ellis]] 18:21, 25 May 2007 (EDT)

love the changes (improvements) to the Australia page - it is turning into quite a good reference. Thankyou. Bit by bit we can build a wonderful resource on this great land. --Bilby 22:34, 29 March 2007 (EDT)

Is the DLP still considered a party? They ran a few candidates in last year's Victorian election and nearly got one in. Not sure what its Federal status is - politics is not my area! Well, not party politics anyway.--Bilby 23:47, 29 March 2007 (EDT)
I've listed *federal* parties. DLP is a state thing, as yet. See recent changes. :-) Peter Ellis 00:04, 30 March 2007 (EDT)
