Constantine II (c. 870s - 952) was King of Alba (now Scotland) from 900 until 943.
Birth
Constantine was born in the 870s, before 879 as his father Aed, King of the Picts died in 878, he was most possibly born in 874.
Abdication
He abdicated in 943, most likely forced by the impatient Malcolm I, who was no longer a young man, although some people suggest he made the decision to abdicate himself.
Death
Constantine died at St. Andrews, Fife in 952, most likely aging into his late 70's.
