Michael E. Pollock, known as Sarge Pollock (born May 27, 1966),[1] is the Republican state representative for Adair and Taylor counties in central Kentucky.
Pollock won the special election held on November 2, 2021, to fill the seat vacated by the late Republican John "Bam" Carney. Pollock defeated two opponents, the Democrat Edwin Rogers and the Independent conservative Timothy Shafer.[2]
Pollock, a former educator and coach, is an insurance risk advisor in Campbellsville in Taylor County and the son-in-law of Don Bishop, the late coach and athletic director at Campbellsville University, of which Pollock is a graduate.
