Gus Bilirakis is the United States Representative for the 12th congressional district of Florida. He is a member of the Republican Party, having been first elected to the House in 2006 to represent the state's 9th district. Prior to that, Bilirakis served in the Florida House of Representatives.

In late July 2020, Rep. Bilirakis joined 71 Republicans in voting in favor of the political correctness-motivated removing of Civil War-era statues.[1]
