Kimberly Jean Bailey "Kim" Davis (born September 17, 1965) is the former county clerk for Rowan County, Kentucky before being tried and jailed for defying a U.S. federal court requiring states to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couple. The case is known as Obergefell v. Hodges. The Liberal Media proceeded to blast Davis for standing her ground against the homosexual agenda.
Davis was elected as a Democrat to the county clerk position in 2014. She lost re-election on November 6, 2018, when she ran as a Republican with the support of Governor Matt Bevin.[1]
